Pink Friday

We all dressed in our finest pink/red clothes today to help raise money for the Marie Keating foundation! Even Brendan, our caretaker, pulled out his favourite pink coat for the day!! Take a look at our photos below!

THINK PINK!

Celebrate your inner pink and THINK PINK on Friday 14th February! For only €2 donation the school community of S.S Peter & Paul can don their best pink garb-head to toe or perhaps a simple accessory and help raise funds for the Marie Keating Foundation, a cause close to our hearts. 
Looking forward to a colourful day- dare to be pink! 


Reminder!

School is closed next week from Monday 17th - Friday 21st for mid-term break. 
School reopens on Monday 24th February.

Gaelic Football Training

Gaelic Football Training, with Barry the football coach, begins this Thursday, 6th February for all the senior infant classes. Please make sure your child wears their school tracksuit and runners on this day.

AN IMPORTANT MESSAGE TO ALL PARENTS

We the Board of Management, Principal and staff of S.S Peter & Paul J.N.S. completely understand your concerns as parents with regards to the current situation. We want to reassure you that the primary concern is, and always has been, the safety and welfare of all the children in the school. We are continuing to wotk in close co-operation with the Gardaí in relation to this matter. The Gardaí are fully aware of each and every incident that has taken place on Chapel Street and in the school in the recent past. The Gardaí have assured us that they are actively enagaged in pursuing the situation and are monitoring it very closely. We re-iterate that the safety and welfare of the children in our school is paramount and be assured that this will remain so.

First Confession & First Holy Communion

First Confession

First Confessions will take place for the 2nd class children in 
Ss Peter and Paul Church on:
  • Thursday March 6th @ 11.30am: Ms Ní Mhaonaigh and Ms Fagan's class
  • Friday March 7th @11.30am: Ms Regan and Ms O Brien's class

First Holy Communion

The children will celebrate the sacrament of Holy Communion on Saturday 24th May 2014 in Ss Peter and Paul Church.
  • 10am: Ms Regan and Ms O Brien's class
  • 12pm: Ms Ní Mhanaoigh's  and Ms Fagan's class
