Seachtain na Gaeilge

Tá Seachtain na Gaeilge at siúl ar scoil ó 1ú - 17ú Márta. Baineann gach múinteoir an úsáid as an Gaeilge an seachtain seo, le cluiche agus spraoi.
Gach lá cloisimid le beirt páistí ó ranganna difriúil ag caint at an "intercom".
Táimid ag glacadh páirt i gcomórtas ealaín agus tá gach duine ag tarraingt pictiúr le seanfhocail.
Beidh "Lá Glas" againn ar an 14ú Márta agus beidh seans ag na bpáistí eadaí glas a caitheamh ar scoil. Beidh ceolchoirm ar siúl ar an lá sin le gach rang ag canadh amhrán agus ag insint dán.
Go néirí an t-ádh libh go léir!

Ash Wednesday

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of the season of Lent. It is a season of penance reflection and fasting which prepares us for Christ's Resurrection on Easter Sunday. We put ashes on our foreheads as a sign of our identity as Christians. The ash which we use on Ash Wednesday comes from burning the palms used on Palm Sunday last year. It is placed on our foreheads in the sign of a cross.
