Winter is over and the Spring is finally here. The girls and boys have been exploring nature and finding the first signs of Spring in their gardens and surrounding areas. They found daffodils shoots, crocuses, snowdrops and buds growing on the trees. In school, the Spring bulbs that our student council planted back in Autumn are starting to grow and will be in full bloom when we return.
Alma Jordan (@agrimammy) author of the books "Tales from Riverside Farm" and founder of Agrikids (@agrikids)-an online and community based initiative that promotes farm life and safety among young children, very kindly donated some of her fabulous books to the children that went out exploring, looking for the first signs of Spring. Thank you so much Alma, the children were delighted with their delivery in the post.
