On Thursday the 6th May, we were delighted to welcome Michael from RTE2 News2day who came to visit our school to film our brand new Mindful Space. They had heard about our wonderful new addition through the Walk In My Shoes Mission Possible Awards, where our school was shortlisted down to the final 3 from all the countrywide entries. Our Student Council did a fantastic job speaking on camera and sharing their thoughts on our new Wellness area and what its like being on the school Student Council. They discussed the jobs they carried out in school and what they had worked on during the year. They have played a vital role in helping our school improve the well-being of all our students and helping us achieve our Amber Flag status.
We were delighted to receive our Amber flag in the post for all the work and effort the whole school has put in in making SS Peter and Paul JNS a happier and friendly space to be part of.
