Short Story Competiton

As part of World Book Day, Ms Ua Chonaill, our English coordinator, set the 1st & 2nd class children the task of composing their own short story. They could choose any topic they wished. All the entries were very impressive. The winners from each class are as follows:

Ms Ní Mhaonaigh's Class

Mrs L Cummins' Class
1st Place: Isabella Gaughan - The Knock
Runner Up: Portia Mulready Poole - World Book Day Adventures, Grace Allen - Night of the Vampires, Christopher Thompson - Little Jimmy and the Haunted House

Ms Prices' Class
1st Place: Franciszek Riegel-A Giant Adventure

Mr Dervin's Class
1st Place: Chloe White Moroney - Chloe's Magical Adventure
Runner Up: Shane Cooper - The Fairy Menace Adventure, Ana Gallagher - Jungle Dog.
